High Adventure 2027

Troop 344’s high adventure experience next summer will be a 13 day trip to the amazing and beautiful Wind River Range in Wyoming along with Yellowstone National Park. The dates for the trip are tentatively set for July 12 – July 24, 2027. This trip will start by flying into Bozeman, Montana and renting vans to drive to Pinedale, Wyoming where we will basecamp for 2 nights. Day 2 will involve an 8 mile dayhike in the Green River Valley with spectacular views of Squaretop Mountain to help acclimate to the mountain environment. On Day 3, we will begin our 5 night, 6 day backcountry backpacking experience into the beautiful Titcomb Basin area. After leaving the trail, we will travel to Yellowstone National Park where we will camp for 3 nights as we explore the sites of the nations premier national park. Our final day before departure will be in Bozeman, Montana where we will tour the Museum of the Rockies to check out their world reknown dinosaur fossil collection.
